Assalamu’alaikum. Woaa! It’s been Syawal already. I would like to say taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum, minal aidin wal faidzin, maaf lahir bathin. I apologize for all my mistakes to you.
Honestly I have so many stories for you to tell. Firstly, if you ever heard about big floods in Cicaheum, Bandung, around March 21st, 2018, I was one of the victims. I did face traumatic phase. Feeling over reacting to children’s shouting and loud water stream. Imagining bad accidents. Alhamdulillah, it’s been recovered in one week though honestly I feel more scare to death after that incident but it’s considered as normal.
Alhamdulillah Allah still give me chance to finish Ramadhan. This Eid Al Fitr eve, we went to Bukittinggi, West Sumatra, my husband’s hometown. By airplane we departed from Soekarno Hatta International Airport to Minangkabau Airport. Though it was a short trip, I was amazed by the airport itself. Yes, that was my first time using terminal 3–new airport. The thing that makes me surprised was the design was so similar to Incheon Airport. Surprisingly, it was our country’s. I think I underestimated my country too much. And probably it was renovated for big event ahead, Asian Games 2018.
Talking about Eid celebration in Bukittinggi, it was my first Eid there. Last year we had it in Jember. The traditions were also different. I found that it was not as exciting as in Jember. May be because I was still not used to and the numbers of family to visit was not many. But it’s still exciting. After 2nd day of Syawal we went to some tourism places, Jam Gadang, Ngarai Sianok, and Tirtasari. FYI, Bukittinggi is one of tourism cities of Indonesia. I hope we can travel and explore more next time.
