Jogja Culinary Part 4

Hi! Annyong haseyo! Finally, I’ve did jogja culinary again. But, again, this is not about Jogja special food, but Korean food . I’ve found Korean Resto in Gejayan Street-Jogja, Mushiro. Korean foods are identic with spicy. But, when I ate the foods, main taste is onion taste. Ahahahha.. . I’m not sure if the true taste is spicy or not, cause I never go to Korea (not yet) :p. This is it!

Hola! How are you today? Ihihii.. another posting at weekend. And another posting ’bout Jogja Culinary. Although the title is JOGJA Culinary, once again, the place I’ve visited served Magelang’s foods and drinks . Location : Kuliner Ruko near Galeria Mall.

This is it. Es campur durian spesial (Durian Mix Ice Special) :p.

In this place, the main course is drink. About the foods, i think that’s standard menu (not unique), such as mie ayam (chicken noodles).

Hello world! Did you ever watch The Cat or Nightmare Detective 2? Yup! Me too. . Actually I’ve watched those, but not until the end. -____-” You know why?! Cause of broken disc. Oh God, please! Okay, forget it. So, this is the review of them.

The Cat

One of Korean Movie. Do you know Park Min-Young? Yup, she is the artist. One of beautiful Korean artist. Okay, because I didnt watch until the end, I’ve got the movie plot from wikipedia .

So-Yeon (Park Min-Young) suffers from claustrophobia due to a traumatic incident that occurred to her as a child. So-Yeon is still treated for her condition to this day. She works as a groomer at a pet shop. One day, a cat named Bidanyi comes into the store. The next day, the owner of Bidanyi is found dead in an elevator. So-Yeon, by request from police officer Joon-Suk (Kim Dong-Wook), takes the cat home. Shortly later, So-Yeon starts to see a mysterious young girl. She becomes more frightened. Then, So-Yeon’s good friend Bo-Hee (Shin Da-Eun) is found dead. Near Bo-Hee, there is a cat which Bo-Hee recently adopted from an animal shelter. So-Yeon now fears for her own life. So-Yeon and Joon-Suk investigate deeper into the mysterious case. There is a hidden story related to the cats.

Cemilan yang Bikin Kantong Kering

Halo! Biasanya, kalau lagi ingin nyemil, apa yang kalian beli atau buat? Biasanya, kalau di rumah, saya biasa goreng telur, dimakan sama lombok ijo. Atau goreng tahu, dimakan sama lombok juga . Kalau pas lagi ngekos, biasanya pilih yang snack di indomaret kali ya :p. Nah, untuk snack enak, yang lumayan bikin kantong kering sekali beli, dan cepet abis ya.. ini!

1) Pillows

Nah, dari yang paling gede ukurannya. Pillows. Pillows ini snack yang isinya cokelat :p. Jadi, bentuknya persegi dan mirip bantal. Isinya cokelat pasta. Enak sih, tapi karena ukurannya terlalu kecil, jadi cokelatnya kurang terasa. Harganya sekitar IDR 7000-8000.

Jogja Culinary Part 2

Haloooo! Bagaimana kabarnya? Long weekend nih pada ngapain aja? Ini postingan sebenernya udah lama banget, tapi nggak sempet publish aja. Jadi, ceritanya, waktu itu ada pameran Muslim Expo, kalau nggak salah . Hari minggu, gw lupa tanggalnya, gowes deh sendirian. Nah, ke expo ini. Niatnya mau beli baju, tapi baju yang dipengenin sudah sold out . Akhirnya belok deh ke stand makanan-makanan. Judulnya sih Jogja Culinary, tapi gw nyobanya makanan khas Bandung, katanya sih :p. Let me show the pics.

Cimol Goreng

Cimol Goreng, atau yang sering disebut Cireng. Salah satu makanan favorit gw di Jogja . I called it, unhealthy snack :p. Tapi masih nikmat kalau dimakan.

Nah, ini bakso ala Bandung. Namanya Cuanki. Sebenarnya gw nggak tau bedanya di mana sama bakso biasa. Yang jelas bakso Jember masih lebih enak .

Hey! Such a marathon posting. I dont ever tell you about my friends coming huh? Ahahaha.. all of them are good to me. Close friends, good friends, old friends (in college).

As I told you in earlier posting, about Trip to Wonosari Beach, he accompanied me. He came from Semarang (his work place) and did a plesir to Jogja. Yeay. I’m waiting for other uncles comings.

3 weeks ago, my college friends, Titus, Zinzi, Ririn, Amel, attended UGM’s Career Day. They took their time to come to see me. Although such a short time, we did a trip to Malioboro. Really, I miss you all, my friends.

New Office..

Salaam..

Hello everyone! Long time no see. I want to tell you about my new office. Yup! I resigned from my senior company. Receiving Gameloft’s job. Yup, as Game Designer, umm..more exactly as Game Massporter. Do you know Massport? Ahaha.. If you have heard me as Game Designer, that doesnt mean I’m the awesome person who create an awesome game, or creative person who create character illustration using pencil or just sketch it. You’ll find that person, but not me (not yet). Gameloft in Jogja is called as massport studio. We redesign, rewrite, retouch the game which made by main studio (in Paris or other creation studio) and make the games for some different devices. Actually, this is not what i’m dreaming about but i just wanna try and take some experiences. “So, what do you do, fit, as Game Designer?” Comparing data from master (game’s data which is produced by creation for specific device and the datas will be a master for other devices. Oh ya, in gameloft, there are some positions. 1) HQ 2) Producer 3) Game designer 4) 2D/3D Artist 5) Programmer 6)Tester. I forget some positions.

Actually, I’m ever rejected by Gameloft when I did my last step, interview. May be because my English, or anything-criteria that i didnt know. But, now, i’m here . Just enjoy my work for unknown-period . And do you know? Recently, I’ve got calling from BNI46 as ODP (Officer Development Program). And I’ve passed the test, last test, medical check-up. I have to decide it soon. They said, I had to sign the contract on Tuesday (Feb 7, 2012).

—- and okay.. the day was already passed. I have my decision. And actually, i write this article on Wednesday (2 weeks ago), and just now continue it . Oh ya, this is my new friends in my new office.

Ohya, the person who stands beside mas Rido is Eric Nunez. He is Producer in Jog-Gameloft. He’s American. And I really like to see his face. Gyahahaa. Fatherly :p But, he resigned too (on Friday ).

Kenapa nulis terus?

Hmm.. sempat kemarin-kemarin ada yang bilang “blogging terusss euy“, etc. Ahahaa, ya, memang jam blogging saya lumayan mengudara akhir-akhir ini. Ada beberapa alasan sih.

1) Masa-masa penantian menunggu panggilan kerja.

Mending saya isi dengan hal yang bermanfaat. Seperti yang dikatakan oleh om Kiki aka Om Gembel, “Ngapain keburu kerja, dinikmati aja.” Walaupun saya memang sudah kebelet banget kerja . Selain blogging biasanya saya juga masih masa belajar meningkatkan kemampuan saya dalam berbahasa Inggris. Karena itu juga saya sering posting pakai bahasa Inggris.

2) Memang hobby nulis sih dari dulu.

Tapi kalau dulu kan ada kesibukan lain yang lebih penting, jadi yang satu ini terbengkalai. Mumpung sekarang lagi banyak waktu luang, ya dimanfaatin.

3) Biar nggak cuma buka email, fb, dan twit.

Jadi, walau setiap hari saya buka email, fb, twit, saya usahakan untuk tidak menulis status yang tidak penting, apalagi sedikit-sedikit gonta-ganti status . Ada psikolog yang bilang, orang sering ganti status itu berarti ada gangguan psikis loh, terutama update status yang nggak penting atau sekadar ungkapan emosi . Jadi, mending browsing hal yang bermanfaat, terus dishare deh.

Yah, nasib jobseeker. Semoga saya lekas dipertemukan dengan jodoh saya, eh, maksudnya pekerjaan saya atau 22nya juga boleh . Aamiin..

Jogjaaa! (short trip)

Hello! I  wanna tell you about my short trip to Jogja. Yup! I went to Jogja for job interview, Gameloft, as a game designer. Actually, I wrote in my application letter for 4 positions, first Game Designer . I went to Jogja alone and just for 3 days, exactly 1 day 2 nights. Jogja is one of not-busy-towns . I just saw crowded sometime.

1st day.. preparation day

I arrived in Jogja at 1 pm. And then Orchida (I called her, Oche) picked up me. Yup, as usual, first activity was tidied up and then took a bath, continued to next activities. No special activity. We just intended to try fruit coffee (“it’s just in Jogja”, she said), but unfortunately I was afraid couldnt rest well for test tomorrow, so, i cancelled it and order another drink. Hmm, before go to sleep, I was still of anxiety, ehehee, wondered what they (interviewers) will ask about . It made me difficult to sleep.

2nd day.. test day and.. waiting day

Yup! At 10 am, I got taxi to pick me up to Pasific Building, Gameloft Office. And, do you know if there’s no Blue Bird taxi? (disappointed) Okay, next, this was hours of interview. First, the interviewers asked me using English, and then continued to use Bahasa. They said interview flow at first time. I just try to enjoy those interview . Try and try! I really try to speak out (actually I’m talkative) :p . After interview, I was waiting for Oche’s coming. She said that she would come after me. But, she was still in interview test too. So, I walked to KFC beside the Pasific Building. 1 hour, 2 hours.. This is the result.
