As I told you in earlier posting, about Trip to Wonosari Beach, he accompanied me. He came from Semarang (his work place) and did a plesir to Jogja. Yeay. I’m waiting for other uncles comings.

3 weeks ago, my college friends, Titus, Zinzi, Ririn, Amel, attended UGM’s Career Day. They took their time to come to see me. Although such a short time, we did a trip to Malioboro. Really, I miss you all, my friends.

Jogja Culinary

Hello! It’s still Sunday, right?! How did you spend your Sunday? All day sleeping? Ahahaha.. no problem. Everyone has each way to enjoy Sunday. Finally, i did Jogja Culinary with my friend, si Bolang, Tanto. We went to Rumah Pohon, one of resto in Yogyakarta. Such an unique resto. Hmm, the place is made of bamboos. If I werent wrong, there are 4 floors.

About the foods, same as other resto,  standard (in taste and appearance). May be, the place is a main menu . This is it.

Kepedulian Sesama Muslim

Assalamu’alaikum.

Umm, tiba-tiba ingin menulis pengalaman baru ketika masuk dunia kerja. Let me write in Bahasa . Yup, di kantor saya, perbedaan beragama sangat mudah dilihat. Namun, perbedaan keyakinan dalam satu agama (dalam hal ini Islam), itu masih baru bagi saya. Di masa kuliah, walaupun perbedaan itu terlihat, tetapi tidak se-ekstrim di sini. Berita-berita di televisi tentang suatu golongan atau individu yang menganut agama Islam, tetapi tidak melakukan ibadah wajib, yaitu sholat fardhu, benar-benar baru kulihat di sini.

Aku belum paham tentang alasan mengapa seorang muslim tidak sholat. Padahal, dalam keadaan apapun, Allah mengharuskan kita untuk melakukan sholat fardhu.

Awalnya shock melihat begitu PD orang-orang Islam-KTP tersebut tidak solat, padahal muslim lain lalu-lalang di depan mereka untuk menunaikan ibadah wajib yang akan dihisab pertama kali ketika datang hari pembalasan.

Sesungguhnya amalan seorang hamba yang pertama kali dihitung adalah sholatnya maka jika sholatnya baik, maka sungguh ia telah beruntung dan sukses. Sebaliknya apabila sholatnya rusak maka ia celaka dan merugi. Kemudian jika ada dalam sholat wajibnya kurang, Allah SWT berfirman kepada malaikat – padahal ia lebih tahu – ‘lihatlah apakah hamba-Ku mengerjakan sholat sunnah, maka jika ia mengerjakan, maka sempurnakanlah sholat wajib hambaku dengan sholat sunnahnya!’ Kemudian amalan-amalan lainnya diperlakukan demikian”(HR Tirmidzi bab yang pertama kali dihitung dari hamba pada hari kiamat juz 2 no. 378)

Hadits lain yang membahas ini adalah sebagai berikut.

أول ما يحاسب به العبد يوم القيامة الصلاة ، فإن صلحت صلح له سائر عمله ، وإن فسدت فسد سائر عمله

Rasulullah Saw. bersabda, “Pertama-tama amalan yang dihisab (dihitung) untuk seorang hamba pada hari kiamat (nanti) adalah shalat. Apabila shalatnya itu bagus maka baguslah amalan yang lain, dan apabila buruk maka buruk pulalah amalan yang lain.” (HR Thabrani)

Trip to Wonosari Beach

Hey you! This is it! My first short trip holiday in Yogyakarta. Actually not in Yogyakarta, but Wonosari . Coincidentally, my uncle (umm.. yup, one of my fake uncles) came to Yogyakarta. He did “plesir” (a trip – I know it from mas didit). Okay, this is the location of Wonosari beach, aprox 2 hours needed to go there.

You’ll need 2 hours (approximately) to go there. And if the weather doesn’t bless you, may be you’ll spend more times for taking shelter (actually, like I did last week -____-). Oh ya, I think you’ll be surprised with the way you pass away . If you know Ninja Hatori OST Song, ya! Ya’ll sing it. “Mendaki gunung lewati lembah”. Although I didn’t drive the motorcycle directly, but I also feel so tired :p.
In Wonosari, there are some nice beaches. Yup. Just  separated by 1-8 km, you’ll find different scenery of South-beach. Indeed, white sand! I didn’t had sufficient time to visit all beaches. This is my photo that I took.

Friends at Night

Yuuhuuu! Welcome back! What do you do when bed-time? :p Ehehehe.. I read some books. For couple of weeks, I read 2 books. These are the books. The left, I’ve got it from titus, my friend. And another, I’ve bough it in books expo (coincidentally, the expo  was held in front of my office )

Ya! Sometimes I think, we need to read paper book (not e-book). It will rest our eyes and get same knowledge indeed . Do you ever read those books? Ahahhaa.. I think just few of you :p. I bet it! So, if you doesnt read what i read, so, what’s book? Recommend yours to me! If I’m interested with your book, I’ll try to read it too.

New Office..

Salaam..

Hello everyone! Long time no see. I want to tell you about my new office. Yup! I resigned from my senior company. Receiving Gameloft’s job. Yup, as Game Designer, umm..more exactly as Game Massporter. Do you know Massport? Ahaha.. If you have heard me as Game Designer, that doesnt mean I’m the awesome person who create an awesome game, or creative person who create character illustration using pencil or just sketch it. You’ll find that person, but not me (not yet). Gameloft in Jogja is called as massport studio. We redesign, rewrite, retouch the game which made by main studio (in Paris or other creation studio) and make the games for some different devices. Actually, this is not what i’m dreaming about but i just wanna try and take some experiences. “So, what do you do, fit, as Game Designer?” Comparing data from master (game’s data which is produced by creation for specific device and the datas will be a master for other devices. Oh ya, in gameloft, there are some positions. 1) HQ 2) Producer 3) Game designer 4) 2D/3D Artist 5) Programmer 6)Tester. I forget some positions.

Actually, I’m ever rejected by Gameloft when I did my last step, interview. May be because my English, or anything-criteria that i didnt know. But, now, i’m here . Just enjoy my work for unknown-period . And do you know? Recently, I’ve got calling from BNI46 as ODP (Officer Development Program). And I’ve passed the test, last test, medical check-up. I have to decide it soon. They said, I had to sign the contract on Tuesday (Feb 7, 2012).

—- and okay.. the day was already passed. I have my decision. And actually, i write this article on Wednesday (2 weeks ago), and just now continue it . Oh ya, this is my new friends in my new office.

Ohya, the person who stands beside mas Rido is Eric Nunez. He is Producer in Jog-Gameloft. He’s American. And I really like to see his face. Gyahahaa. Fatherly :p But, he resigned too (on Friday ).
